How Do Polarized Lenses Work?
There are two types of harmful Ultraviolet (UV) rays: UVA and UVB. Ultraviolet (UV) exposure leads to eye damage. Normally most sunglasses protect from UV rays in sunlight, Galaxylense’s replacement lenses have 9 levels of Polarized UVABC protection to block any lights that might damage the eyes.
UVA Rays Damages Protection: When absorbed by a crystalline lens, UVA could damage the retina, leading to blindness. Might suppress the immune system, causing skin cancer. Can lead to wrinkling or age spots.
UVB Rays Damages Protection: When absorbed by the cornea, UVB could destroy the outer cells and cause pain, blurred vision, or temporary blindness. The primary cause of sunburn.
Polarizing Film: Blocks lights reflected by horizontally polarized surfaces, such as water or highway. Helps diminish glare.
